Revised Priority crops for VCU testing
1. According to the decision of National Seed-related Committee meeting held on 11 April, 2018, the National Seed-related Committee announces that in accordance with section 9, sub-section (a) of the Seed Law, new or derived varieties of 17 priority crops, which are included in the crops groups mentioned below must undergo VCU testing to be ensured whether or not these varieties are adapted for cultivation in Myanmar and the rest of the new or derived varieties must apply for recognition certificates with the complete documents.
