1. The National Seed-related Committee hereby assigns the Field Inspection Body to examine plant varieties for adaptability testing, and to guide seed buyers and seed inspectors.

(a) Examine new plant varieties, whether or not to pass the adaptability test for cultivation and use and obtain a recognition certificate.
(b) Examine seed production farms whether or not they operate in conformity with the prescribed field standards.
(c) Examine seed business licenses (for seed production, sales and distribution, import, export and storage) whether or not they are provided in accordance with the stipulations.
(d) Examine seed business licenses (for seed production, sales and distribution, import, export and storage) whether or not they are provided in accordance with the stipulations.
(e) Carry out examinations and sharing knowledge on, whether or not seed is correctly packaged in accordance with the required information on the package.
(f) Examine seed shops whether or not they have a seed business license.
(g) Examine seed shops whether or not they recognize variety and business licenses.
(h) Share knowledge on the seed law, regulations and seed production with farmers and license holders.
(i) Instruct inspectors according to the requirements.
(j) Submit finding of examinations to the Technical Seed Committee.
